This statement applies to drjaroch.de, the website of Zahnarztpraxis Dr. Martin Jaroch in Singen, in both its German and English versions.

The standard we measure against is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This website is partially compliant with these requirements. The content that is not yet fully accessible is listed in the next section.
Non-accessible content
The following content is not accessible, or only partly accessible:
Signature in the digital medical history form: the signature field can only be used with a mouse, a finger or a stylus, not with a keyboard alone (WCAG 2.1.1). Alternatively, you can call us or fill in the paper form at the practice. The form points this out right next to the signature field.
Video on the “About Dr. Jaroch” page: the YouTube video embedded there is offered without captions and without a transcript from this website (WCAG 1.2.2).
The background video on the home page is muted, purely decorative and contains no information that is not also given as text on the page. You can stop it at any time with the “Pause video” button. If you have set your operating system to reduce motion, it does not start automatically.
How this statement was prepared
This statement is based on a self-assessment carried out on 11 October 2026. We checked the main pages in German and English on smartphone and desktop with:
an automated test using the axe-core tool against WCAG 2.0 and 2.1, levels A and AA;
manual tests of keyboard operation, focus order and focus visibility;
manual tests of zoom and layout down to a width of 320 pixels, and of colour contrast.
No test with screen readers has been carried out.
